Charlotte High School’s Leo Club chose the Animal Welfare League for their recent community project.
During the month of October, the students participating in this service organization placed boxes in local Punta Gorda businesses to collect much needed supplies for the shelter. Christine Kist, LEO Club Advisor, who also serves as the high school’s nurse, said these students did an outstanding job in a very short period of time.” “We are so grateful for all these donations and we really appreciate all the efforts of the LEO Club members,” said Kris Steffens, AWL Executive Director.
