All animals adopted from the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County are spayed or neutered before adoption so that they will go home with you the same day!

Please fill out the form and call the Animal Welfare League at 941-625-6720 to schedule an appointment. This form does not guarantee the hold of the animal. We ask for adopters to come to the shelter to spend time with the pet before adopting. The adoption process works on a first-come, first-serve basis. If the animal you wish to adopt isn’t available anymore, please consider falling in love with another available pet. We have lovely pets waiting just for you to change their lives furrever.
