On March 14th, the Peace River Botanical and Sculpture Gardens is teaming up with the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County for an exciting event that will benefit the animals in need in the area. The event will feature a beautiful display of sculptures, botanical gardens, and adoptable dogs.
Standard admission and a $5 donation for each animal will be collected at the gate. All of the proceeds will go to benefit the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County. In addition to the beautiful display of sculptures and gardens, the Animal Welfare League will be onsite with their adoptable dogs. This is a great opportunity for animal lovers to meet some of the amazing animals that are available for adoption and potentially give one of them a loving forever home.
There will also be other vendors at the event, so visitors can enjoy a variety of goods and services while supporting a great cause. Whether you’re looking to adopt a new furry friend, enjoy some beautiful art, or just spend a lovely day in nature, this event has something for everyone.
Microchipping is the easiest way to help others identify your pet if it gets lost. Every animal is scanned when it’s turned into AWL. With over 3000 animals entering our shelter every year just over 400 were returned to their owners. If a chip is found we do everything we can to contact the owner registered to that animals chip.
AWL’s medical team will be onsite March 14th, from 12-2 for a FREE* microchip event. You can register for this one day only event by clicking the Register Now button to the left.
